Enjoy a fun-filled weekend with lots of opportunities to get out and ride in the unique wilderness terrain surrounding Grand Marais. Relax and explore the beautiful North Shore of Lake Superior.

Friday, August 27

10 a.m. - 6 p.m: Race Registration and Race Packet Pickup at Superior North Outdoor Center

Racers can register and pick up their race packets at 13 South Broadway (the bike shop) in downtown Grand Marais.

Saturday, August 28

8:00 - 9:00 am: Late Registration

Racers can register at 15 South Broadway, Stephan Hoglund Photo Studio (next to the bike shop) in downtown Grand Marais.

8:00 - 9:30 am: Race Packet Pickup

Racers can pickup their race packet at 15 South Broadway, Stephan Hoglund Photo Studio (next to the bike shop) in downtown Grand Marais.

9:45 am: Meeting

Prerace meeting in Boulder Park, just south of the bike shop on Coast Guard Point.

10:00 am: Sawtooth Mountain Bike Challenge

Start on Broadway Ave. in front of Superior North Outdoor Center in downtown Grand Marais. Begin with a parade start, proceed up to the Pincushion Mountain Recreation Area where beginner class will complete one loop (no single track), sport class two loops (16 miles), and expert class three loops (24 miles).
